It turned out to be a nightmare of a day for the Emporia State track team at the NCAA Division II outdoor Championships Friday.
Taysean Goodwin was hoping to advance to the finals in the 200 meter dash but finished in 12th place in the prelims and failed to advance to the finals. In the 4 by 400 relay team of Parker Evans, Luke Stenzel, Duke Tibbs and Taysean Goodwin
won their heat and had the second fastest prelim time but were disqualified for stepping on a lane line.
Taysean Goodwin will be running in the 400 meter dash final Saturday.
