A Hartford High student has been formally charged with one count of criminal threat following an incident last week.
According to Lyon County Attorney Marc Goodman, 15-year-old Julian Rose faces a charge of criminal threat. This came after Rose allegedly made verbal threats toward another student sometime between May 7 and May 11.
The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office was called out to the high school Friday after being alerted by school officials. After an investigation, Rose was subsequently arrested and placed into a juvenile detention facility. The affidavit in the case has been sealed.
Rose will appear for a pretrial hearing at 2 p.m. June 5 in Lyon County District Court.
