The State High School softball and baseball tournaments begin Thursday.
Chase County and Lebo/Waverly will be playing in the 2-1A State softball tournament in Pratt.
8th seeded Lebo/Waverly play top seeded Udall at 5pm.
Following that game defending 2/1A champion and number 4 seed Chase County plays Uniontown.
Osage City will be playing at the 3A State tournament at Manhattan. Osage City plays number 2 seed Cheney at 5pm.
The Chase County baseball team will be playing in the 2/1A State tournament at Great Bend. The Bulldogs will play number 2 seeded West Elk in the 3rd game of the day.
The 4A Division I baseball and softball tournaments will be played in Emporia.
The baseball tournament will be played at Sodens Grove. In the days first game at 11am Number 2 seed Ark City plays Independence.
In the 2nd game Andove Central plays Ottawa.
In the 3rd game number 1 seed Paola plays Tonganoxie.
In the late game Buhler plays Bishop Miege.
The softball tournament will be played at the Trusler Sports Complex.
In the 5pm games number 1 seed Independence plays Abilene and Kansas City Piper plays Andover Central.
In the late games Tonganoxie plays Andale/Garden Plain and Paola plays Ark City.
