(esuathletics) Emporia State’s Seth Holman and Bryce Fischer have picked up their 3rd post season all-region honors as both were named First-Team American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-Central Region.
The pair were named to the Commissioners and baseball writers First-Team All-Central Region teams last week.
Holman was the MIAA Pitcher of the Year and a first-team All-MIAA selection. He is ranked second in the nation in starts, ninth in total strikeouts, 11th in strikeout to walk ratio, and 15th in walks allowed per nine innings.
Fischer was a first-team All-MIAA pick and Gold Glove winner. He is fifth in the nation in walks, eighth in on base percentage, 19th in runs scored and 21st in RBI.
