The Emporia Arts Center officially kicked off summer on Tuesday evening.
The EAC’s third annual Summer Arts Kickoff invited families into their building at 815 Commercial for a free preview of what is planned for summer. EAC Gallery and Outreach Coordinator Kaila Mock says they truly have a summer full of art classes planned.
Mock says they will also be offering a number of adult classes, and new this year an adult sketch club.
The kickoff gave kids to try out arts and crafts like sand art, watch clay forming demonstrations and get their face painted.
