One person was hurt late Saturday morning as the result of a crash in north Lyon County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, an SUV was westbound on Hwy 56 about a mile and a half east of Miller when it left the roadway and struck a concrete culvert in the south ditch. Initially, emergency personnel were paged out for a rollover crash.
The Highway Patrol’s crash log says David Houston (hometown not listed) was transported to the University of Kansas St. Francis Hospital in Topeka with unknown injuries. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
The Kansas Highway Patrol continues to investigate.
