The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Hartford teenager for making alleged threats against other students.
According to Sgt. Doug Stump, Lyon County deputies were called out to Hartford High School at about 11:45 a.m. Friday and during the investigation, it was learned that a 15-year-old student had previously made verbal threats toward other students. The juvenile male suspect was arrested and transported to a juvenile detention center. The juvenile’s name has not been released.
USD 252 Southern Lyon County Superintendent Mike Argabright says they take all threats seriously.
Felony charges are pending through Lyon County District Court.
