At the high school level, this is the final weekend for commencement activities across our area.
Emporia High School will have its commencement at 3 pm Sunday at White Auditorium. Superintendent Kevin Case says Emporia High is meeting the needs of the state’s Kansans Can education vision.
At Northern Heights, commencement activities will begin at 7 pm Saturday. Superintendent Aron Dody says it’s a time for celebration.
USD 252 Southern Lyon County will have commencement activities Sunday afternoon — 2 pm at Hartford and 5 pm at Olpe. Superintendent Mike Argabright:
Council Grove has its graduation ceremony at 3 pm Sunday. All other area high schools have had their commencement activities earlier this month.
