The second of the big championship meets takes place Friday for the Emporia High track and field teams. The Spartans will be hosting a regional meet.
The top 4 finishers in each event will advance to state. Emporia Highs Olivia Young is a returning regional champion and finished first at last weeks Centennial League meet.
Myles Livingston is the defending regional champion in the discus.
Fridays meet will be held at Emporia States Welch Stadium, Zola Witten Track. Field events begin at 3:30p, track prelims begin at 4:30p.
