The Tampa Bay Rays out scored the Kansas City Royals 6-5 Tuesday night.
The Rays scored 3 runs in the top of the 1st. The Royals tied the game at 5 in the 7th when Alex Gordon and Hunter Dozier scored on a Whit Merrifield single. Tampa Bay retook the lead in the top of the 9th scoring a run with 2 outs.
The Royals will try to avoid a sweep by the Rays Wednesday afternoon. First pitch is set for 1:15p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
