The Emporia State track and field team picked up 5 first place finishes and set a school record in the regular seasons final meet Saturday.
Lati Yeargin won the 100 meter dash and set a new school record with a time of 11.63 seconds. Yeargin also ran a leg as part of the 4 by 100 relay that finished in 1st place and tied a school record. Jazmin Williams, Hannah Shield and Malacia Lee made up the rest of the 4 by 100 relay.
Thomas LaRoche won the 800. Brandon Rhone won the 400 meter dash and Alec Garcia won the shot put.
National qualifiers will be announced next week.
