Salvador Perez hit a 2 run home run in the top of the 7th to give the Kansas City Royals a 10-8 win over Cleveland Friday night.
Cleveland scored 3 runs in the 1st inning. The Royals tied the game in the 3rd and took the lead in the 4th on a bases loaded walk. Cleveland scored 6 runs in the 4th inning. The Royals began the rally with a run in the 5th. They added 3 runs in the 6th and Salvador Perez hit his home run in the 7th.
Alcides Escobar drove in 4 runs. Jon Jay drove in 2 runs. Brad Keller earned his first win pitching 3 scoreless innings in relief. Kelvin Herrera earned his 8th save.
The Royals and Indians play again Saturday afternoon with first pitch set for 3:10p.
