The Emporia State baseball team will need to work their way thru the consolation side of the bracket at the MIAA tournament after losing to Central Missouri 9-2 Friday.
Emporia State had tied the game at 2 in the 3rd inning on a Tate Kastens two run home run. The home run would be the only offense of the night for the Hornets. Central put the game out of reach with 3 runs in the 8th and 2 more runs in the 9th.
Emporia State will play Missouri Western in an Elimination game Saturday with first pitch set for 9am.
