EUREKA — You do realize that you’re not supposed to call 9-1-1 if you don’t have an emergency, right?
Apparently, Greenwood County Dispatch recently fielded an emergency call that definitely was not an emergency.
The Sheriff’s Office posted the audio from Thursday’s call on its Facebook page, reminding people it’s actually illegal to call 9-1-1 if there is no actual emergency.
The man concerned about the condition of his lady friend’s feet has not been found.
