Purchases are a key component of the Lyon County Commission’s action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners have four purchase requests from the Road and Bridge Department, including a trackhoe pressure kit and hydraulic system drain line, used motor grader and two rebuilt grader power trains. All bids are from Foley Equipment totaling almost $370,000.
Separately, Facilities Director Mark McKenna will present potential agreements with BG Consultants for design work to replace the jail’s chiller and generator.
Also, commissioners will consider an insurance replacement for a Sheriff’s Office vehicle recently totaled in a crash. Commissioners will also look at possibly approving an access easement vacation for the Brookfield Subdivision near Emporia.
The meeting starts at 8 am in the County Courthouse.
