Lindenwood defeated the Emporia State baseball team 9-4 Saturday.
Lindenwood scored 5 runs in the 4th inning to take a lead they would not give up. Emporia State scored 2 runs in the top of the 4th on a Mason Brown 2 run home run. They would score 2 runs in the 9th inning on a Mack Gowing 2 run home run. The Hornets and Lions close out the weekend series Sunday afternoon.
