The Emporia High girls and boys track and field teams finished in 15th place out of 34 teams at the Shawnee Mission Northrelyas Friday. Emporia High had 9 top 8 finishes.
Abby Stewart finished in 4th place in the 1600 meter run and 7th in the 3200 meter run.
Jonathan Olsson finished in 4th place in the shot put.
Myles Livingston finished in 6th place in the discus.
Sara Mitchell finished in 6th place in the discuss.
Rafael Vasquez finished in 6th place and Matthew East in 8th place in the 300 hurdles.
The Boys 4 by 400 relay team of Kesston Gentz, Colton Bieker, Matthew East and Brent Hastert finished in 6th place.
The girls 4 by 400 relay team of Rylie Williams, Alexis Davies, Paige Schmid and Taylor Cooper finishedi n 7th place. Taylor Milleson finished in 7th place in the shot put.
Up next for the Emporia High track and field teams will be the Centennial League meet next Thursday.
