The Newman Regional Health Auxiliary has been busy raising money this year to give back to those pursuing an education in healthcare.
The Paco Designs Jewelry and Gift fundraiser was held at the Newman Conference Center Wednesday and Thursday. NRH Volunteer and Social Media Coordinator Jessie Wagoner tells KVOE News that Paco has been a great partner for the successful event.
Earlier this year, the Newman Regional Health Auxiliary unloaded $12,750 in scholarships for future students pursuing an education in healthcare. Wagoner says those scholarships are also available to students right here in the Emporia area.
Fundraising totals are pending and should be announced by Friday.
