The Emporia Recreation Commission’s annual birthday party was held at the Lee Beran Recreation Center on Sunday.
Rec Commission Program Supervisor Amanda Gutierrez says they want to offer something for everyone.
With events like the Couch to 5K race, the party invited people to join in getting active through the Rec Commission activities. Gutierrez says with the school year winding down, the Rec Commission is ready to hit the ground running with activities planned all summer.
