Gusty winds will be the main weather concern across Lyon and surrounding counties Sunday and Monday.
Separate wind advisories have been posted for the area Sunday. Lyon, Coffey, Morris, Osage and Wabausee counties are in an advisory until 8 pm. Chase and Greenwood counties are in an advisory until 1 am Monday. Wind gusts will be as high as 45 mph, pushing the fire danger to very high levels.
There could be a repeat performance Monday afternoon. Wind gusts are expected as high as 40 mph, causing fire conditions to deteriorate further.
