The Kansas City Royals split a doubleheader with the Chicago White Sox Saturday.
The White Sox won the first game 8-0. The Royals won the second game 5-2. In game 2 Alex Gordon drove in 2 runs with a single to give Kansas City a 3-1 lead. Jorge Soler doubled in a run in the 5th and Alex Gordon doubled in a run in the 8th. The win ends a 5 game losing skid. The Royals and Tigers wrap up their 5 game series Sunday.
