The Emporia State mens 4 by 400 relay team of Parker Evans, Luke Stenzel, Duke Tibbs and Taysean Goodwin earned a gold medal at the Drake relays Saturday.
The 4 some won the race with a school record time of 3:08.69. It was the 2nd championship at the Drake relays for Emporia State. Friday the mens 4 by 800 relay team earned a gold medal.
The womens 4 by 100 relay team of Jazmin Williams, Hannah Shield, Malicia Lee and Lati Yeargin finished in 2nd place.
Up next for the Emporia State track and field teams will be the MIAA outdoor championships beginning May 4th in Kearney, Nebraska.
