The Emporia High girls track team finished in 4th place and the boys in 8th place out of 26 teams at the Seaman Camien-Welch Invitational Friday.
Emporia High had 5 top 3 finishes. Abby Stewart finished 2nd in the 1600, Olivia Young finished 2nd in the high jump the boys 4 by 400 relay team of Kesston Gentz, Colton Bieker, Matthew East and Brent Hastert finished in 2nd place. Rafael Vasquez finished 3rd in the 300 hurdles and the girls 4 by 400 relay team of Rylie Williams, Alexis Davies, Paige Schmid and Taylor Cooper finished in 3rd place.
