The Emporia High boys tennis team finished in 5th place of 8 teams in the Emporia Invitational Tuesday.
Salina Central finished in 1st place, Manhattan 2nd and Washburn Rural 3rd. Individually the doubles team of Cameron Kienholz and Taylor Moorman finished in 5th place. Payton Harmon and Josh Stutler finished in 9th place. In singles play Michael Wilson finished in 8th place and Brian Madrigal finished in 14th place. Emporia High is slated to send players to the Valley Center Invitational Wednesday.
