The Emporia High girls swim and dive team finished in 4th place out of 15 teams at the Topeka West Invitational Tuesday.
Diver Haylee Weiss finished in 1st place and Whitney Sparks finished 2nd. Karalyn Karjala finished 6th. In the pool Ashlyn Alingh finished in 5th place in the 100 butterfly and 7th in the 50 free both with consideration times for state.
The 200 free relay team of Ashlyn Alingh, Peyton Irwin, Kelsey Boettcher and Kaylen Hart finished in 5th place. The same 4 swimmers finished in 7th place in the 400 free relay. Kaylen Hart finished in 8th place in the 500 free.Emporia High will host their final home meet on Thursday.
