Work should be ending soon for a bridge project east of Emporia.
Crews with the Kansas Department of Transportation have been working for several weeks on Interstate 35’s bridge over the Neosho River. Crews have finished the work on the eastbound lanes and are currently working on the westbound outside lane.
Weather permitting, this project could be done by Friday.
