Emporia State athletes earned 4 first place finishes on the final day of the 91st KU relays Saturday.
Taysean Goodwin had the fastest time in the 400 meter dash. Thomas LaRoche won the 800 meter run. The mens 4 by 400 relay team of Brandon Rhone, Parker Evans, Taysean Goodwin and Duke Tibbs finished in 1st place. The womens 4 by 100 relay team of Jazmin Williams, Hannah Shield, Malacia Lee and Lati Yeargin finished in first place.
Emporia State also had 6 other top 6 finishes. The Mens 4 by 100 relay team of Colin Coleman, Taysean Goodwin, Malcomb Dade and Duke Tibbs finished in 2nd place. Murad Baheyadeen finished in 3rd place in the 800. Duke Tibbs finished in 4th place in the 400 meter run. Taysean Goodwinn finished in 4th place in the 200 meter run. Hannah Shield finished 5th and Lati Yeargin finished 6th in the 100 meter dash. Wyatt Sander finished in 6th place in the 400 meter hurdles.
