Bridge work is taking place on the Kansas Turnpike northeast of Emporia. Another project is taking place southwest of Emporia.
Turnpike Authority crews are repairing a bridge deck near mile marker 125, two miles southwest of the Emporia gate.
The Turnpike Authority hasn’t said how long the deck repair will take. The work on bridges between mile markers 129 and 131, or between the Emporia tollgate and service center, will likely take two full years to complete.
