The Emporia State softball team hosts Southwest Baptist Thursday afternoon in a doubleheader.
The Lady Hornets are down to their final 8 games of MIAA play. They begin todays play in 12th place and 2 and half games back of 8th place. Top 8 teams advance to the MIAA tournament. Senior Katy Rae Nordman says they need to relax and enjoy playing the game.
Game 1 of the doubleheader begins at 12:30p at the Trusler Sports Complex. The second game will follow. Game 2 will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
