Nebraska Kearney out scored the Emporia State baseball team 11-3 Monday afternoon to win the 3 game series 2 games to 1.
Kearney scored 3 runs in the 1st inning and added 4 more in the 3rd inning to take a 7-1 lead. Tanner Arst hit a solo homerun in the 5th inning and Bryce Fischer hit a solo homerun in the 6th. The Hornets fall to 19-15 over all and 10-11 in the MIAA. They are scheduled to play at Washburn Wednesday.
