Due to the forecast for poor weather Friday and Saturday the Emporia State softball team will play a doubleheader at Fort Hays State Wednesday and Nebraska Kearney Thursday.
Sophomore Kelsey Phillips is hoping they begin a run to end the season.
The Lady Hornets are coming off a win over Washburn Saturday.They go into the weekend sitting in 10th place in the MIAA standings.
