Now that 2014 is here, the first competition of the new year is just around the corner for Emporia State and Emporia High teams.
The Emporia State basketball teams play at Lincoln Saturday. Monday they are at Lindenwood. The men will be without the services of Josh Pederson, he is out with a concussion.
The Emporia High wrestling team goes to Hutchinson Saturday. The Emporia High boys swim team hosts a meet next Thursday. The Emporia High basketball teams return to action January 10th when they play at Topeka Seaman.
In High School basketball action Friday Mission Valley at Chase County.
