The Emporia State track and field teams had 1 champion and 6 provisional qualifiers for Nationals at the Pittsburg State hosted Crimson and Gold meet.
Elizabeth Blevins had the lone First place finish. She had the fastest time in the 600 yard run. Jazmin Williams had the lone provisional qualifying mark for nationals. She placed 3rd in the long jump.
For the Emporia State men: Wyatt Sander place 5th in the heptathlon with a provisional score. Taysean Goodwin finished 2nd in the 400 meter dash and 6th in the 200 meter dash with provisionally qualifying times. Goodwin was also part of the 4 by 400 relay that finished in 2nd place with a provisional time. Goodwin was joined on the relay by Parker Evans, Wyatt Sander and Luke Stenzel. Alec Garcia finished in 4th place in the shot put with a provisional qualifying mark.
