The Emporia State softball team was swept in a doubleheader by Central Oklahoma Wednesday afternoon.
Central won the first game 4-3. The Lady Hornets scored 2 runs in the 2nd on a Katy Rae Nordman single. Central scored a run in the bottom of the 2nd and added 3 runs in the 6th. In the top of the 7th Danielle Sprinkle hit a solo homerun for the Lady Hornets.
In the 2nd game Central Oklahoma scored 8 runs in the first inning on the way to a 9-0 5 inning win.
The Lady Hornets host Lindenwood Friday and Saturday they will host Lincoln. Saturdays games will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM
