#6 West Virginia out scored Kansas State 77-69 Monday. The Wildcats were playing catch up most of the game. They trailed for almost 35 minutes of the game. Kansas State shot only 35 percent from the floor and made 10 of 26 threes. West Virginia connected on 53 percent of their shots.
Kansas State Coach Bruce Weber said they did not make the plays they needed to.
Xavier Sneed led Kansas State in scoring with 20 points. Dean Wade had a double-double of 17 points and 10 rebounds. Barry Brown finished with 14 points. The Wildcats fall to 1-1 in Big-12 play and 11-3 for the season. They will at Texas Tech Saturday.
Also Monday in the Big-12 Texas out scored Iowa State 74-70 in overtime.
