The #4 ranked Baylor Bears out scored the #4 ranked Emporia State Lady Hornets 89-60 Tuesday night.
The Emporia State Lady Hornets trailed by 8 at the end of the 1st quarter, at halftime and going to the 4th quarter. Baylor would go on a 29-8 run in the 4th quarter to seal the win. Lady Hornet Coach Jory Collins was pleased.

Junior Addie Lackey led Emporia State with 17 points, hitting all 3 – three pointers.

Emporia State hit 11 3’s on the night. Kelly Moten added 13 points. Baylor was led by Freshman Lauren Cox with 17 points. Baylor out scored the Lady Hornets 58-16 in the paint and out rebounded the Lady Hornets 40-20.
Emporia State opens the season November 12th when they host Southwestern Oklahoma State in the MIAA/GAC crossover.
