The 19th ranked Emporia State baseball team begins at 5 game home stand when they host arch rival Washburn Wednesday. The Hornets go into the game in 2nd place in the MIAA standings. Washburn is tied for 3rd place with Missouri Western and are 2 games back of the Hornets.
Freshman Tucker Perkins says they need to find away to get the wins.

First pitch is set for 5pm. Its Chamber day at the Trusler Sports complex. Kansas City Royals mascot Slugger will be in attendance from 5:30 till 6:30p. And its autograph day, Most of the Spring Sports will be on hand to sign autographs during the game.
