The Emporia State Lady Hornet basketball team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 109-39 win over Oklahoma Science and Arts, at White Auditorium, Saturday afternoon.
The Lady Hornets started a little slow, leading by only two points with four minutes to play in the first quarter before stretching the lead to nine at quarter’s end. ESU shot just over 50 percent for the game and over 47 percent from behind the three-point line. The Lady Hornets also dished out 28 assists, while only turning it over 12 times.
