The girls’ and boys’ championship games of the 93rd Annual Lyon County League tournament will feature a Marias des Cygnes Valley and Olpe doubleheader.
Day 4 began with the Olpe girls defeating Waverly 43-34. In the other girls’ semi, MdCV beat Lebo 50-29. The Olpe boys advanced to the championship game with a 65-40 win over Burlingame. The MdCV boys defeated Lebo 65-49.
Saturday’s coverage on Country 101.7 FM and KVOE-TV begins with the girls’ 3rd place game at 3pm, with Lebo playing Waverly. Lebo plays Burlingame at 4:30 in the boys’ 3rd place. The girls’ championship is scheduled for a 6pm tip, with the boys’ championship to follow at about 7:30pm.
Games begin at 9am Saturday morning with SCC playing Hartford in the girls’ 7th place game. Madison and Waverly meet in the boys’ 7th place game at 10:30. The girls’ 5th place game features Madison and Burlingame at noon. Then SCC and Harford play the boys’ 5th place game at 1:30pm.
