Northwest Missouri State completed a sweep of the Emporia State baseball team with a 12-11 walk-off win in 12 innings Monday.
In the top of the 12th the Hornets had the bases loaded with no outs and scored 1 run. Northwest would win the game with a walk-off 2 run homerun in the bottom of the 12.
Emporia State scored 3 runs in the first and 2 runs in the 2nd inning to take a 5-0 lead. Northwest scored 4 runs in the bottom of the 2nd. The Hornets led 10-8 after 6 innings. The would take a 11-10 lead in the top of the 12th. The Hornets host Southwest Baptist this Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
