The Kansas Jayhawks routed Oklahoma 104-74 Monday night.
Coach Bill Self called it a good win.
Devonte’ Graham led all scorers with 23 points. Malik Newman added 20 points, Lagerald Vick 17, Svi Mykhailiuk 16, Udoka
Azubuike and Silvio De
Sousa each scored 10 points. The Jayhawks jumped out to a 10-0 lead and never trailed. Oklahoma cut the lead to 7 points early in the second half before the Jayhawks went on another big run. Coach Self says they are playing better then they were 3 weeks ago.
Kansas now has a half game lead over Texas Tech for first place in the Big-12. Kansas plays at Texas Tech Saturday.
The Jayhawks have moved up to number 8 in this weeks College basketball polls. They are ranked 8th in both the AP and USAToday Coaches poll.
In the AP poll Virginia is the top ranked team followed by Michigan State. In the Coaches poll its Michigan State and then Virginia. The next 3 are the same in both polls Villanova, Xavier and Duke in the top 5.
Wichita State is ranked 13th in the AP poll and 12th in the Coaches poll.
Kansas State is receiving votes in both polls.
