After being postponed Tuesday night the Emporia High basketball teams will play at Topeka High Wednesday night. Wednesdays games were also postponed.
Both teams will play at 8pm in separate gyms. The boys will play in the main gym with the Dean Smith Trophy on the line. Senior Jonathan Olsson says they will need to be more focused then they were Friday at Hayden.
The girls will play in the JV gym. They will be looking to build off a win at Hayden. Sophomore Drue Davis says they will need to be better defensively.
The reason the games are being played at the same time is that Topeka High is holding parent teacher conferences. The boys game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
The Chase County at Olpe game, that was to be the featured games on Country 101.7FM have been cancelled and will not be made up.
Crest at Madison has been rescheduled for Wednesday night.
