The Emporia High boys host Maize South in a 5A semi-final sub-state game Tuesday.
Emporia High Coach Beau Welch says they need to be better then they have been down the stretch.
Senior Jay Wilson says they need to play with no fear.
Tip-off is set for 7pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
The winner will play either Wichita Heights or Salina South for the right to advance to the 5A State tournament.
