Emporia High track and field, girls swim and dive and boys tennis team scheduled to compete Thursday.
The Emporia High track and field teams will be competing in the Wichita Southeast Invitational. Junior Rafael Vasquez hopes to build on his first place finishes in the 110 and 300 hurdles in the seasons first meet.

The Emporia High girls swim and dive team goes to Topeka. Sophomore Kelsey Boettcher, who was part of the 200 and 400 free relays that had consideration times for state in their last meet will be swimming in both of those relays along with the 200 and 500 free.

The Emporia High boys tennis team hosts a tournament beginning at 3pm on the Emporia High Courts.
