The Emporia High girls track team finish 1st and the boys 4 at the Wichita Southeast Invitational Thursday.
Individually Emporia High had 5 first place finishes. Abby Stewart won the 1500 meter steeplechase. She also placed 2nd in both the 1600 and 3200 meter runs.
Miranda Risen won both the long jump and triple jump. In the triple jump Olivia Young placed 2nd and Allie Christensen placed 3rd.
For the boys Matthew East took first in the 300 meter hurdles and the 4 by 400 relay team of Rafael Vasquez, Colton Bieker, Kesston Gentz and Brent Hastert finished in 1st place.
