The 11th annual Senior Prom is coming to the Emporia State University campus Thursday.
Memorial Union’s Webb Hall is the site for the annual gathering featuring area seniors and Emporia State student-athletes. On KVOE’s Newsmaker segment this week, fifth-year track athlete Duke Tibbs said he’s excited to be involved again.
Residents age 55 and older are encouraged to attend. The Lions Club will provide valet parking, while L-CAT will offer free rides if people call ahead. Walgreens will take photos, and the band Unchained will play. This year’s theme is “Boot Scootin’ Boogie.”
Activities start at 7 pm.
