Emporia city commissioners have an action session Wednesday night.
Commissioners may officially award the contract to a search firm as commissioners continue looking for a new city manager. Commissioners recently received a recommendation to pick the Austin Peters Group for that work.
Zoning matters will also be discussed, with a request on the table to re-zone 1315 West Ninth from single-family residential to medium-density residential and a separate request for a conditional use permit so St. Mark’s Lutheran Church can build a shed on its property. Mid-Kansas Properties has also requested a minor plat for the Hidden Mesas II subdivision at 30th and Crestview.
The meeting starts at 7 pm at the Municipal Court Room.
