Kansas lawmakers Ron Highland and Eric Smith have been honored by the Kansas Chamber.
Both were listed as Legislative Champions during the Chamber’s recent annual dinner. Highland and Smith were among 90 Kansas lawmakers honored for a variety of reasons, including voting records on policies and issues important to the Kansas business community, support of the Chamber’s legislative agenda during the 2021 session and work to either promote or move pro-job bills through the Legislature.
This is the first year for the Kansas Chamber’s Legislative Champion honors.
Highland represents the Kansas House 51st District, while Smith represents the House 76th District.
