Emporia High softball outscores Kapaun Mt. Carmel 18-9

The Emporia High softball team outscored Kapaun Mt. Carmel 18-9 Saturday.

The Lady Spartans blew the game open scoring 6 runs in the 5^th and scored 6 more runs in the 7^th inning.

Maddyn Stewart drove in 3 runs. Kaylee Reimer was 3 for 5 at the plate, including a 2 run home run and drove in 3 runs.

The Lady Spartans finish the regular season with a 8-12 record. Up next will be regionals.
