Parts of the KVOE listening area will start Mother’s Day under a wind advisory.
Chase and Greenwood counties will have a wind advisory from midnight to 10 am Sunday. Northwesterly winds are expected between 15-25 mph steadily with gusts as high as 45 mph before conditions gradually settle down.
Blustery conditions are expected across the KVOE listening area, although the winds should be somewhat lighter for Lyon County and other surrounding counties.
